Valkyrie Storm Saga
Along with a co-creator, Michael W Butler designed this multi player game based on the original Viking board game called Hnefatafl. Valkyrie Storm divides the two sides of the original Hnefatafl game into clans that can play independently or cooperatively for their common goals.
ALONG WITH MORE THAN 30 MORE, THESE IMAGES WERE ALL IMPECCABLY HAND DRAWN BY WALLA WALLA ARTIST MICHAEL W BUTLER. MR. BUTLER SPENT SIX MONTHS DRAWING AND RE-DRAWING THESE IMAGES UNTIL HE FELT CONFIDANT OF THEIR REPRESENTATION OF NORSE MYTHOLOGY. EACH CARD IS UNIQUELY DESIGNED ACCORDING TO MICHAEL BUTLER'S OWN IMPRESSION OF WHAT THESE CHARACTERS LOOKED LIKE.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery
Michael W Butler entered Light space & Time gallery’s 7th Annual “Nature” Art Competition. 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world, were called upon to make online submissions.
Artists were asked for their interpretation of the theme “Nature” by submitting their best representational or abstract art. Nature subjects included geographical subjects, landscapes, natural objects, wildlife and natural environments. The submission process for the artists began in September 2017 and concluded on October 27, 2017. The gallery received 615 entries from 21 different countries from around the world, including Armenia, Australia, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Romania, Scotland, Singapore, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and Wales. In addition, the gallery received entries from 35 different states.
